Job summary

Lyft is seeking a strategic Business Operations professional to own month-end close processes across fleet and operational areas, support Salesforce system administration, and collaborate with FP&A, Treasury, Accounting, and Operations.

You will build scalable financial processes, automate recurring workflows, manage POs, and generate actionable insights through Salesforce dashboards to drive efficiency and profitability across Flexdrive’s rental and AV fleet operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in business operations, finance, FP&A, or related analytical role; automotive/fleet/mobility experience is a plus.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets, with experience building financial models, scenario and variance analyses, and working with large datasets.
• Strong understanding of accounting and finance principles, including financial reporting, accrual accounting, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Experience supporting month-end close processes, including preparing accruals, reconciliations, and analyzing results.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end close deliverables across fleet and operational areas, including financial reporting, accruals, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Prepare monthly loan and lease activity inputs for Accounting to support reporting and close.
• Develop SOPs for recurring financial and operational workflows to strengthen controls and scalability.
• Manage PO activity and coordination to ensure funding alignment.
• Develop Salesforce reports/dashboards to provide actionable insights for operations and finance.
