Job summary

Primoris Services Corporation seeks a strategic Director of Fleet Finance, Analytics & Audit to lead financial management, analytics, and governance for the corporate fleet organization in Houston. The role partners with Operations, Fleet Management, Procurement, and Project Controls to optimize profitability and enforce strong internal controls.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in accounting/finance/economics/business analytics or related field.
5+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, audit, analytics, or FP&A.
5+ years of leadership experience managing teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, auditing principles, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
Advanced skills in financial modeling, business intelligence, data analytics, and Microsoft Excel.
Experience with ERP systems, reporting platforms, and executive-level presentations.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.
Experience in construction, industrial services, transportation, fleet, equipment, or asset-intensive industries preferred.
Preferred CPA, CMA, CIA, MBA, or comparable certification.
Experience in public accounting, internal audit, SOX compliance, or operational audits.
Expertise with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar analytics platforms.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary finance, analytics, and compliance advisor to Fleet and Operations leadership.
Partner with Business Unit leaders to support fleet utilization, capital investments, and operational performance.
Lead and develop finance and cost control personnel and foster accountability.
Develop executive dashboards, KPIs, and performance reporting.
Conduct variance analysis, forecasting, trend analysis, and financial modeling.
Lead internal and external fleet-related audit activities and strengthen internal controls.
Prepare annual operating and capital budgets and long-range planning.
Evaluate ROI, TCO, and business cases for major fleet investments.
Support acquisitions, due diligence, and vendor evaluations.
