Job summary

Mainspring Energy in California is seeking a Field Service Manager to lead Field Service Supervisors and drive the performance, availability, and reliability of the operating fleet.

You will coordinate with Engineering, Reliability, Supply Chain, Logistics, Safety, and Customer Operations to remove barriers, plan maintenance, and ensure resources and parts are ready for both planned and reactive work.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Field Service, O&M, or similar operations experience.
• 5+ years leading supervisors, leads, or frontline teams.
• Experience coordinating distributed field teams and maintenance.
• Background in power generation or complex electromechanical systems.
• Proven use of operational data and KPIs to drive improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead Field Service Supervisors and develop their capabilities.
• Ensure fleet performance, availability, and reliability.
• Prioritize reactive vs. planned work and drive action plans.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Reliability, Supply Chain, and Safety.
• Plan workforce capacity, staffing, and training needs.
