Job summary

The American Red Cross in Burlington, VT is seeking a General Maintenance & Fleet Technician to support the Burlington Blood Center. Schedule is Mon-Fri, 8am to 5pm (flexible - 40 hours); on-call duties; a valid driver's license is required.

The role is on-site with a 32,000 sq ft facility and a fleet of 12 vehicles. Under limited supervision, you will perform maintenance across carpentry, plumbing, painting, machine/equipment repair and electrical work, while providing support to

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience.
• Experience in painting, HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, masonry and electrical work.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance in the Biomedical facility.
• Manage fleet operation and regional fleet programs.
• Maintain a 32,000 sq ft facility and a fleet of 12 vehicles.
• Patch holes, paint structures, install electrical/plumbing/carpentry tasks.
