Job summary

Cincinnati Metro seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to coordinate, monitor, and oversee all maintenance activities for operations areas and staff. You will work with Fleet/Facilities Managers to ensure reliable fleet operations, maintain facilities, and control maintenance costs.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Mechanical Technology or two years vocational training.
• Three years’ experience in a facilities maintenance fleet maintenance environment.
• Two years supervisory experience preferred.
• Must pass entry-level mechanical/technician test.
• Willing to work various shifts.
• Experience with Hazmat, forklift, blueprint reading, welding, hydraulics and computer controls.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee maintenance activities across operations areas.
• Schedule and assign work based on priority and staff skill.
• Monitor safety and enforce procedures.
• Provide troubleshooting guidance and assist staff.
• Manage materials and parts inventory and track purchases.
• Develop strategies to meet department performance goals and monitor results.
