OmniSource in Corpus Christi, TX seeks a Maintenance Technician to service mobile and stationary equipment, perform preventative and corrective maintenance, and maintain accurate records. The role requires safety-minded individuals who can operate forklifts and drive trucks and trailers as needed.

Candidates should have at least two years of DOT truck maintenance experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years experience with general knowledge of DOT truck maintenance requirements.
• A clear understanding and adherence to safety regulations.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more consistently.
• Safety Minded
• Ability to work in all types of weather conditions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be highly self-motivated.
• Team player dedicated to the organization
• Valid Drivers License

Responsabilités

• Change truck & trailer tires, make brake adjustments, and fix lights.
• Perform preventative/corrective maintenance on truck & trailers.
• Maintain complete and accurate maintenance documentation.
• Operate forklift, ability to drive Truck and Trailer.
• Follow good housekeeping standards.
• Make recommendations for process system improvements.
• Knowledge of industrial safety and OSHA guidelines.
• All other tasks as assigned.
