Job summary

HOODZ LLC in San Antonio, TX is seeking a hands-on maintenance technician to keep our fleet vehicles and field equipment running reliably. You will perform routine maintenance and repairs on work vehicles, and service small engines like pressure washers and generators.

The role offers independent work, practical troubleshooting, and logging maintenance records. A valid driver's license and comfort with hand and power tools are required; ASE or small engine certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

Some experience with vehicle maintenance or light mechanical repair.
Familiarity with small gas/diesel engines (pressure washers, generators, or similar).
Comfortable troubleshooting basic mechanical issues.
Able to work independently on daily tasks.
Comfortable using hand and power tools; own basic tools a plus.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-minded.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles.
Repair and maintain small gas/diesel engines (pressure washers, generators, and similar equipment).
Conduct basic inspections to catch issues early and prevent downtime.
Coordinate with field technicians to schedule repairs with minimal disruption.
Keep simple repair logs and maintenance records.
Help track parts and supplies, and flag when outside repair shops are needed.
Support day-to-day safety checks on fleet vehicles.
