Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking an Operations associate responsible for fueling all delivery equipment and checking oil, fluids, and tire pressure daily in Concord, NC. The role supports the fleet shop and night warehouse teams to prep equipment for use.

You will wash trailers per FSQA, maintain a clean yard, and assist with yard organization. Must be able to read and follow simple instructions and perform basic math and communications with staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1-3 months related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Able to write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.

Responsibilities

• Fuel every piece of delivery equipment daily.
• Check all fluid levels of power equipment daily.
• Assist the fleet shop when needed.
• Work with both fleet shop and night warehouse management to ready equipment for use.
• Wash trailers per FSQA schedule.
• Keep parking lot clean and free of debris.
• Support the night truck spotters to organize the truck yard.
