Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking an entry-level Operations team member in Charlotte, NC. The role focuses on daily fueling, fluid checks, and general equipment readiness for use by drivers and the fleet team.

Responsibilities include supporting the fleet shop, maintaining trailers per FSQA, and keeping the yard orderly. A GED/HS diploma and 1–3 months related experience are required; lifting up to 50 lbs is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, memos.
• Able to write simple correspondence.
• Learn to drive and back-up tractor-trailers and straight trucks.

Responsibilities

• Fuel every piece of delivery equipment daily.
• Check all fluid levels of power equipment daily.
• Assist the fleet shop when needed.
• Work with fleet shop and night warehouse management to ready equipment for use.
• Wash trailers per FSQA schedule
• Keep parking lot clean and free of debris.
• Support the night truck spotters to organize the truck yard.
