Job summary

Woodward Tahoe is seeking a Vehicle Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance shop for Boreal and Soda Springs in the Sierra Nevada. You will oversee fleet, snowmobiles, and heavy equipment, driving safety, reliability, and high performance through strong leadership and collaboration with cross‑department teams.

The role requires hands-on leadership, excellent communication, and a commitment to guest and employee experiences.

Qualifications

Valid and current Driver's License.
Experience in vehicle maintenance and the tools involved.
Experience in work order tracking and maintaining in-depth digital records.
Ability to react quickly in crisis situations and under extreme conditions.

Responsibilities

Oversee the maintenance of all fleet vehicles, snowmobiles, heavy equipment, snow cats, trucks, and ATVs.
Assist in snow removal and heavy equipment operator training.
Develop annual budget and manage within those parameters.
Oversee staffing needs including selecting, coaching, training employees and evaluating performance.
Train staff in safety procedures and assist with specialty maintenance certificates.
Manage staff to ensure performance and cost-focused efficiency across the department.
Discipline staff as needed to maintain safe working conditions.
Set daily and weekly schedules.
