Job summary

Winchester Equipment Co. is seeking a Logistics Dispatch to plan, schedule, and monitor the safe, timely movement of agricultural, construction, and rental equipment.

You will serve as the central contact among customers, sales, service, drivers, and carriers, ensuring accurate records and prompt communication from scheduling through delivery. The role requires strong organization, the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and a professional customer experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; related coursework preferred.
• 1+ years in dispatching, transportation, or related field preferred.
• Experience with agricultural, construction, material-handling, outdoor-power, or heavy equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of transportation scheduling and shipping documentation preferred.
• Proficiency with email and Microsoft Office; routing or mapping tools and dealership software.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record may be required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate equipment pickups, deliveries, transfers, demonstrations, and returns.
• Prioritize transportation requests based on commitments, readiness, driver availability, and load requirements.
• Assign deliveries to drivers or third-party carriers with complete instructions.
• Track transportation activity and communicate status updates to stakeholders.
• Review and retain bills of lading, delivery tickets, and other transportation documentation.
• Coordinate with sales, service, rental, parts, and yard personnel to stage equipment safely.
• Ensure compliance with safety requirements and company policies; report incidents.
• Maintain scheduling boards and transportation logs.
• Identify opportunities to improve service, productivity, and cost control.
• Support driver communication and coordination across locations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
