United Rentals is seeking a Dispatcher to organize daily equipment dispatch for the branch in a safe, timely manner to meet customer operational needs. The role emphasizes multitasking, strong communication, and a safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities include scheduling drivers, handling delivery/pickup orders, coordinating field repairs, answering calls, and supporting inside sales as needed. This position is on-site and safety-sensitive.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of DOT/Federal Motor Carrier rules.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Safety-focused with attention to details.

Responsibilities

• Schedule drivers and organize dispatch of all equipment for the branch.
• Assist in taking customer telephone orders for deliveries and pickups.
• Arrange for emergency field repairs as needed.
• Answer customer calls and review driver schedules to fulfill requests.
• Assist Inside sales team as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
