Job summary

IB Abel, Inc. seeks a Fleet Asset Coordinator to support operating divisions across multiple locations. You will manage drivers, equipment requests, and maintenance while optimizing asset utilization and reducing idle time.

Proficiency in Outlook, Excel and Word is required, along with a clean driving record and CDL. Desirable qualifications include Notary or tag/title experience, plus a college degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or Construction Management.

Qualifications

• Experience with heavy equipment and boom-equipped vehicles (aerial devices).
• Driving record free of violations and safe operation of company vehicles.
• Proficient in Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Notary public certification or tag and title experience is preferred.
• Clean driving record and ability to drive company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Manage drivers and coordinate equipment logistics across affected parties.
• Prioritize and process equipment requests and releases via SharePoint.
• Acquire rental equipment as needed for requests.
• Coordinate maintenance and repair; schedule downtime and track through completion.
• Monitor asset utilization, identify idle/underused units, redeploy as needed.
• Coordinate logistics to optimize sharing across crews, projects, and locations.
• Dispatch drivers or vendors to move or deliver equipment.
