Job summary

CarMax is seeking a Fleet Driver to safely load, transport, and unload vehicles between stores, auctions, and logistics hubs. You will ensure on-time deliveries, maintain inventory flow, and uphold CarMax standards of safety and professionalism in all interactions with vendors and customers.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL and CMV driving experience with a clean driving record. You will operate a 10-speed transmission and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• 2+ years of CMV driving experience requested.
• Clean driving record with no major violations in recent years.
• Ability to meet DOT & FMCSA qualification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, secure, transport, and offload CarMax vehicles between stores, auctions, vendors, and logistics hubs.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery to maintain inventory flow and customer satisfaction.
• Operate equipment with safety, efficiency, and cleanliness.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections in accordance with DOT and CarMax standards.
• Maintain accurate DOT logs and documentation.
• Represent CarMax professionally with vendors, stores, and the public.
