Job summary

CarMax is seeking a Fleet Driver in Wilmington, NC to Safely load, secure, transport, and offload vehicles between stores, auctions, and logistics hubs, ensuring on-time delivery and inventory flow.

You must have a valid Class A CDL and at least 2 years CMV experience; a clean driving record; ability to lift heavy objects; perform DOT inspections; and work outdoors in varied weather. Routes are designed to get you home daily with safety as a priority.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• 2+ years CMV driving experience required.
• Clean driving record with no serious violations in past 3 years.
• Ability to meet DOT & FMCSA qualification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, secure, transport, and offload vehicles between stores, auctions, vendors, and logistics hubs.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery to maintain inventory flow and customer satisfaction.
• Operate vehicle safely, keeping equipment clean and well-maintained.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections per DOT and CarMax standards.
• Maintain DOT logs and documentation accurately.
• Represent CarMax professionally with vendors and store staff.
