Qualifications

• Dispatch drivers and equipment for liquid asphalt transport per schedules.
• Coordinate pickup with terminals and delivery with plants/customers.
• Maintain driver availability and equipment inventory with logs.
• Ensure DOT compliance and safety procedures.
• Communicate route changes and issues promptly.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and dispatch drivers and tanker trucks for the transportation of liquid asphalt cement and related products.
• Coordinate pickup appointments with terminals and delivery schedules with asphalt plants and customers.
• Assign drivers and equipment based on product requirements, hours of service, and priorities.
• Monitor active loads and confirm schedules are maintained from dispatch to delivery.
• Maintain an accurate list of drivers, tractors, trailers, and outside resources.
• Record loading, delivery times, and ETA/ETD.
• Communicate route changes and delays promptly to all parties.
• Coordinate replacement equipment when needed and schedule outside carriers.
• Provide drivers with necessary load info and paperwork.
