Job summary

TCI Transportation in Liberty Hill, TX is seeking a Diesel Mechanic with 4+ years' experience. You will diagnose and repair major truck and trailer components with guidance from leadership.

This position pays $37.01-$41.00 per hour, Monday–Friday 9 AM to 6 PM, with on‑call rotation. We are a family‑owned company since 1978 focused on safety, integrity, and dependable service; weekly pay, benefits, uniforms, and boot allowance are provided.

Qualifications

• 4 to 6+ years Diesel Engine Repair.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Self-motivated and leadership skills; available for On Call Rotation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair major truck and trailer components with minimal supervision.
• Perform removal/replacement of major components as directed by Lead Technician or Maintenance Supervisor.
• Diagnose and repair systems including engines, brakes, electrical, HVAC, and instruments, ensuring quality within time standards.

Shift - Monday-Friday 9AM to 6 PM

Position Overview

Technician Level IIII will generally assist in the repair and diagnosis of major components or remove/replace major components of various truck and trailer equipment at the direction of Lead Technician or Maintenance Supervisor. Expectations include the ability to diagnose and repair the following with little or no supervision: Clutches, PTO Systems, Electric Systems, Hydraulic/ Air Brake Systems, Heating/ Air Conditioning Systems, Instruments and Gauges, and Preventive Maintenance Service. Technicians are measured on their efficiency to complete quality repairs in time standards.

Minimum Requirements
