Job summary

TCI Transportation is seeking a Diesel Mechanic with 4+ years of hands-on experience for our Midland, TX location. The role offers hourly pay between $36.70 and $40.54, depending on skills and experience, with a Monday–Friday shift and weekends as required.

You will diagnose, repair, and replace major components on trucks and trailers under direction from senior technicians. We value reliability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Diesel Engine Repair experience.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Self-motivated with leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair components of truck and trailer equipment with minimal supervision.
• Repair and diagnose major components or replace major components as directed by Lead Technician or Maintenance Supervisor.

TCI RENTAL AND LEASING – If you are a Diesel Mechanic with an expert touch and attention to detail, WE WANT YOU!

We are looking for Diesel Mechanics with 4+ years' Experience - $36.70 - $40.54 an hour depending on skills and experience

Shift - Monday through Friday, weekends when required

Technician Level 4 will generally assist in the repair and diagnosis of major components or remove/replace major components of various truck and trailer equipment at the direction of Lead Technician or Maintenance Supervisor.

Expectations include the ability to diagnose and repair the following with little or no supervision: Clutches, PTO Systems, Electric Systems, Hydraulic/ Air Brake Systems, Heating/ Air Conditioning Systems, Instruments and Gauges, and Preventive Maintenance Service. Technicians are measured on their efficiency to complete quality repairs in time standards.

Minimum Requirements

• 6+ years Diesel Engine Repair
• Must possess a valid driver's license
• Self-motivated & Leadership skills
• Must be available for On Call
