Aerotek is seeking a dependable Fleet Diesel Technician for 1st shift in Jacksonville, FL. You will inspect, diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on a fleet of diesel trucks, trailers, forklifts, and other mobile equipment supporting manufacturing operations.

Strong mechanical aptitude and diesel engine experience are essential. This contract-to-hire role runs Monday through Friday with overtime as needed.

Competenze

• Diesel technician experience required.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines and hydraulics.
• Ability to read manuals and schematics.
• Proficient with diagnostic and hand tools.
• Safety-conscious with attention to detail.

Mansioni

• Perform preventative maintenance on diesel trucks, trailers, and forklifts.
• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Inspect equipment and identify repair needs.
• Complete work orders and maintenance records.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and comply with safety procedures.
• Communicate issues and repair status with supervisors.
