Job summary

Coach USA is hiring Diesel Mechanics in Paramus, NJ for full-time roles that keep a large bus fleet safe and reliable. You will diagnose, repair, and service diesel engines (Cummins/Detroit), perform preventative maintenance, and document repairs in logs.

CDL is preferred; ASE diesel cert is valued; highway coach maintenance experience is a plus. We offer competitive pay and benefits including medical/dental/vision, 401(k), tool/boot allowance, uniforms, and paid holidays/vacation/PTO.

Qualifications

• Experience working on diesel engines and bus/coach maintenance.
• Familiarity with Cummins and Detroit engines is a plus.
• Willingness to obtain CDL if not already held.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools.
• Remove, install, and recondition diesel engines components.
• Perform preventative maintenance per manufacturer specs.
• Complete test drives and ensure safety and reliability of buses.
• Write inspection reports and maintenance logs.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
