Job summary

Reyes Fleet Management in Milwaukee, WI is hiring a Fleet Diesel Mechanic A to repair and maintain trailer and tractor equipment.

This full-time position shift is Monday–Friday, 10:00AM–6:30PM, with a pay rate of $36.50 per hour and an additional $1.00 per hour CDL incentive for active CDL A.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 3+ years of related experience.
• Must possess own tools and valid CDL A is highly desired; mandatory in some locations.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable MVR per DOT regulations to operate company vehicles.
• Ability to frequently lift, push and/or pull weights in excess of 50 pounds, occasionally 100+ pounds.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, rebuild and repair fleet equipment (tractors, trailers, refrigeration units, and related parts).
• Complete thorough documentation for work orders of repairs and preventative maintenance through the online Enterprise Asset Management system.
• Diagnoses complex mechanical and electric problems utilizing diagnostic technology/software when applicable.
• Completes complex and detailed mechanical inspections and repairs with minimal supervision.
• Adhere to all company, local, state, and federal policies and regulations including DOT, OSHA, and Reyes Fleet Management standards, while ensuring safety programs and proper use of tools and PPE.
• This position may require driving Reyes Family of Businesses vehicles; DOT requirements include MVR checks, DOT physical, and Safety History records; CDL holders will have a DOT Drug Screening.
• Some travel may be required.
• Other projects or duties as assigned.
