Job summary

Zoox is seeking a Data Analyst to support data systems and reporting powering our autonomous fleet operations. You will transform vehicle telemetry, service logs, and operations data into clear insights that improve decision-making across operations, safety, and engineering teams.

This role focuses on analytics, reporting, KPI development, and building accessible datasets and dashboards. We offer a part-time, contractor position with on-site work requirements and a minimum 20 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, CS, Business Analytics, or related field.
• Experience with operational, logistics, or fleet-related data is a plus.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for querying, data manipulation, and analysis.
• Python for data analysis and reporting.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, or Power BI).
• Experience working with large datasets and transforming raw data into actionable insights.
• Familiarity with Databricks or similar analytics platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze vehicle telemetry, service logs, dispatch data, and operational metrics to identify trends and actionable insights
• Build and maintain dashboards and recurring reports for fleet operations, safety, and engineering stakeholders
• Define, track, and report on KPIs related to fleet performance, mission success, readiness, and operational efficiency
• Ensure datasets used for analysis are accurate, well-structured, and reliable
