Job summary

Zoox is seeking a Part-Time Student Worker to support the Fleet- Operations team. You will develop internal tools and dashboards, perform data verification, and help drive operational efficiency across L3 programs. The role requires on-site work and a minimum three-month commitment.

Compensation is $30/hour with vendor employment. You will collaborate with engineers and researchers on real projects that impact autonomous mobility.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a BS/MS program in a relevant discipline.
• Available to commit to a minimum three-month assignment.
• Able to commit at least 40 hours per week.
• On-site work at Zoox office locations.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop internal mobile-first web applications to support field operators with dispatch, routing, and end-of-shift reporting.
• Build responsive interfaces for real-time fleet monitoring with sub-second latency.
• Construct live dashboards to visualize fleet health, downtime, and operator efficiency metrics.
• Aggregate and analyze large sets of vehicle performance data to provide actionable recommendations for improving fleet utilization and reducing idle times.
• Collaborate with L3 hardware and software engineering teams to ensure tools reflect current autonomous system capabilities.
