Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support the Fleet Services Operating Tax Team with analytical reporting on sales, use, property, excise, VAT, fuel and heavy vehicle use taxes across U.S. and Canada.

The role requires strong analytical skills and teamwork across functions to drive compliant, data‑driven decisions. The ideal candidate has at least two years of financial or tax analytics experience and is proficient in SQL, Crystal/Business Objects, and MS

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in Finance/Accounting/Economics or related field.
Minimum 2 years of financial or tax analytics experience.
Data mining and reporting tools experience preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) required; PowerPoint/Access preferred.

Responsibilities

Query, analyze, and interpret transactional data to support tax policy, audits, compliance risks, and other operational impacts.
Maintain design and deployment of databases and data access methods for efficiency.
Provide analytics for tax engine configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
Support audit processes and cross‑functional data requests.
Manage multiple projects with cross‑functional teams and realistic deadlines.
Assist with tax exposure mitigation and process improvements.
