Central New Mexico Community College is seeking a Fleet Compliance Manager to lead fleet operations, maintenance, driver training, and regulatory compliance across federal, state, and local requirements.
The role focuses on developing robust policies, managing vendor relations, monitoring vehicle inspections, and implementing sustainability initiatives including EV integration, with direct reporting to senior leadership.
The Fleet Compliance Manager provides strategic leadership and oversight of all institutional activities related to fleet operations, vehicle maintenance, driver training, and regulatory compliance. This role is accountable for developing and implementing robust policies and procedures that ensure full adherence to safety, environmental, and operational regulations at the local, state, and federal levels. The position leads efforts to monitor and evaluate vehicle inspections, driver performance, and maintenance schedules to optimize compliance, safety, and operational efficiency. The Fleet Compliance Manager actively engages with internal stakeholders and external regulatory agencies, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of evolving regulations and translating them into actionable institutional practices. This position plays a critical role in risk mitigation, vendor management, and sustainability efforts, including the strategic integration of electric vehicles. The role also oversees internal compliance audits and reports directly on fleet readiness and regulatory alignment to senior leadership.
