Job summary
MIKEL, Inc. is seeking an experienced professional to provide real-time fleet support for Combat Control systems at NUWC Newport, RI.
The role focuses on ISEA, chat, and technical support within a classified/unclassified network environment, requiring NMCI SIPR and close coordination with program SMEs and PMS offices. You will participate in Fleet issue tracking, prepare quarterly fleet communications, and assist in documentation reviews.
Qualifications
- Requires knowledge of Navy Combat Systems and related policies/procedures.
- Ability to communicate with engineers, technicians, and leadership.
Responsibilities
- Provide real-time fleet support for Combat Control systems (ISEA, Chat, and technical support).
- Attend meetings and provide feedback; assist in Fleet issue tracking and documentation.
- Develop quarterly Fleet Newsletter and coordinate with NUWC teams.
- Travel to program events or for installations as needed (approx. twice yearly).
- Support in emergency Fleet issues including after-hours as required.
