Job summary

BEST Logistics Group in Kernersville, NC is seeking a Fleet Training Specialist to onboard new Class-A CDL drivers across our four fleets and to lead remedial training. You will also support the Train-The-Trainer program and the Driver Finishing Program while helping create instructional materials.

This role requires hands-on training, DOT compliance focus, and collaboration with fleet leadership to assign mentors and improve driver safety and retention.

Qualifications

• Valid Class-A CDL and 5+ years of CDL driving experience.
• No preventable accidents in the past year.
• Flexible schedule with 8am–5pm and some weekend work.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Onboard new Class-A CDL drivers and ensure DOT compliance.
• Lead Driver Finishing Program and conduct trainer evaluations.
• Create and maintain training materials for BEST culture.
• Collaborate with fleet leadership to assign mentors.
• Coach drivers in the field and monitor performance; support safety meetings.
