Job summary

UPS Supply Chain Solutions, Inc. is seeking an Automotive Technician in Orlando to join the fleet maintenance team.

You will service a range of equipment including delivery vehicles, heavy-duty tractors, and trailers, focusing on diesel and gasoline propulsion systems, hydraulic brakes, and engine controls. Key duties include DOT compliance, manual and automatic transmission operation, tool use, and diagnostic tasks.

Qualifications

• Current documented automotive mechanical experience.
• Experience using diagnostic equipment, scan tools and personal computer.
• Possesses full complement of personal hand tools.
• Class A/B or A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) - Preferred

Responsibilities

• Meets D.O.T requirements required by job assignment.
• Bends, stoops, squats, kneels, crouches, crawls, climbs ladders and stairs, stands, walks, and turns/pivots frequently throughout duration of workday.
• Sits infrequently, as required, throughout duration of workday.
• Operates standard and manual transmission; uses power and pneumatic tools.
