Job summary
Southern California Edison (SCE) is seeking an Automotive Technician to service and maintain a broad fleet of vehicles at on-site facilities. You will perform lubrication, oil changes, brake and tire work, and inspections, while keeping detailed maintenance records.
The role requires a valid US driver’s license and 2+ years of advanced automotive repair experience. Certifications such as ASE Master and Class A with Tanker endorsement are preferred and required within specified timeframes; swing
Qualifications
- Valid US Driver's License.
- Two or more years of experience with advanced automotive service and repair; basic computer/diagnostic use.
- Must obtain Master Auto/Light Truck Certification within 18 months of hire.
- Must obtain Class A License with Tanker endorsement within 6 months.
Responsibilities
- Lubricate, change or add oil and service vehicles.
- Tighten body and chassis bolts; check and fill brake systems, hydraulics, differentials and transmissions.
- Inspect brake linings and seals; repair/rotate tires; adjust brakes.
- Maintain records and reports for garage operations.
- Perform other vehicle servicing duties as assigned.
