Job summary

Southern California Edison is seeking an Automotive Technician to perform extensive vehicle service on its fleet. Responsibilities include routine maintenance, brake and suspension work, tire rotation, and system inspections to ensure safe operation.

The role requires 2+ years in advanced automotive servicing, along with relevant ASE/master certifications and the ability to obtain a Class A license with Tanker endorsement within 6 months. On-site shifts apply.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of experience with automotive servicing and repair.
• General use of personal computers and related diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lubricate, change or add oil.
• Check and fill brake systems, hydraulics, differentials and transmissions for proper levels; replace filters, belts, hoses, and wipers.
• Inspect brake linings, seals; rotate tires; adjust brakes as needed.
• Maintain records and reports for garage operations.
• Perform other vehicle servicing duties as assigned.
