Job summary

Global Medical Response's AMR Buffalo division is seeking a Fleet Repair Technician/Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical systems in cars and trucks. The role requires 3–5 years of hands-on repair experience, ASE credentials are valued, and a valid driver's license is required.

A full set of tools is necessary for day-to-day duties. Responsibilities include diagnostics with scanners, routine maintenance, component repairs, testing, and meticulous documentation.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; automotive technology degree/certificate preferred.
  • ASE Certifications valued.
  • 3–5 years repair or maintenance experience.

  • Diagnostics: Use computerized scanners to identify engine, transmission, electrical, and steering issues.
  • Maintenance: Change oil, rotate tires, replace fluids, service brakes.
  • Repairs: Replace worn or defective parts (pads, belts, sensors, shocks).
  • Testing: Test drive or use equipment to verify repairs.
  • Documentation: Record parts used and services for logs and records.
  • Communication: Explain issues and repair options clearly.

Fleet Repair Technician/Mechanic

Pay Rate starting at $26-32/Hr.

Ford vehicle experience is a plus.

Inspects, diagnoses, and repairs mechanical and electrical systems in cars and trucks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnostics:Use computerized scanners and tools to find engine, transmission, electrical, and steering problems.
  • Maintenance:Change oil, rotate tires, replace fluid levels, and service brakes.
  • Repairs:Fix or replace worn, broken, or defective parts like pads, belts, sensors, and shocks.
  • Testing:Test drive vehicles or use specialized equipment to verify that repairs work correctly.
  • Documentation:Record all parts used and services performed for shop logs and vehicle records.
  • Communication:Explain mechanical issues and repair options clearly .

Qualifications & Requirements
