Performs all Front-Line Mechanic maintenance activities assigned by Fleet Manager.
MechanicLeadwill rotate on-call duties with Fleet Manager.
Employee scheduling and ensuring the quality of work performed meets department standards and work is completed as scheduled.
Provides input to Fleet Manager for employee evaluation and progress report purposesas well as assist in the training of new hires.
Ensuring cost effectiveness of all fleet maintenance programsand assistsFleet Manager in development of new maintenance programs.
Mechanic Lead maintainsrequired vehicle records. This may include data entry, parts ordering, etc.
Utilizes parts computer program to locate needed parts and verify correct application.
Electrical diagnosis experience with ability to read and comprehend schematics
Must have a full set of personal tools.
Must have a current valid driver’s license.
5 years of basic automotive experience
ASE Certifications (Combination A1-A8 – Mandatory Brake Certification ASE or equivalent).
(Optional) Preferred Qualifications :
Fleet Maintenance background preferred.

Journeyman level experience
5 years of basic automotive experience
ASE Certifications (Combination A1-A8 – Mandatory Brake Certification ASE or equivalent).
