Job summary

Avis Budget Group is seeking a qualified automotive technician in Minneapolis, MN to perform preventive maintenance on a diverse fleet of vehicles. You will complete oil changes, fluid services, tire changes/rotations, and basic repairs while following safety procedures and quality standards.

You may assist senior technicians as your skills grow. The role includes on-the-job training toward ASE certification, paid time off, medical and other insurance, 401(k), and employee discounts on rentals

Qualifications

Valid driver's license and good driving record.
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude or prior automotive maintenance experience.
Comfortable working in a mechanical shop with moderate to loud noise levels.
Basic computer skills, including typing and data entry.
Flexibility to work all shifts.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance on a fleet including oil changes, fluid services, tire changes/rotations, and basic repairs.
Work on a diverse fleet across manufacturers to gain exposure to systems and technologies.
Assist senior technicians as skills grow and take on additional maintenance tasks.
Adhere to safety procedures and quality standards to minimize downtime.
