Job summary

Avis Budget Group in Minneapolis is hiring an entry-level automotive technician to perform preventive maintenance on our fleet, including oil changes and basic repairs across multiple brands. You will work on newer vehicles, follow safety standards, and may assist senior technicians as you gain experience.

This role requires a valid driver’s license and physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds; on-site, not remote.

Qualifications

• Requires a valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude or prior automotive maintenance experience.
• Able to work in a mechanical shop with moderate to loud noise levels.
• Basic computer skills, including data entry.
• Flexible to work all shifts.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the U.S.
• On-site position; no remote work.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on Avis Budget Group fleet, including oil changes and fluid services.
• Assist senior technicians and grow skills across multiple vehicle brands.
• Help reduce downtime and keep vehicles safe and ready for customers.
