Avis Budget Group is hiring an Automotive Mechanic (B Tech) in Minneapolis, MN. The role involves performing essential repairs and maintenance on newer vehicles, including oil, brakes, tires and suspension, with growth toward more complex diagnostics under supervision.

Applicants should bring at least 2 years of auto repair experience or related coursework, an ASE certification, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of professional auto repair experience or automotive coursework with certifications.
• At least 1 ASE certification, with ability to obtain 2 additional ASE certifications within the first year.
• Working knowledge of ASE certification areas including engine repair, drivetrain, suspension, brakes, electrical, HVAC, engine performance, light diesel.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical repairs and maintenance on a diverse fleet of newer vehicles with minimal supervision.
• Oil and fluid services, tire repairs, brake work, suspension repairs, and routine maintenance or warranty-related repairs.
• Assist senior technicians with more complex diagnostic and repair work as experience grows.
