Job summary

Model 1 Commercial Vehicles is seeking a skilled technician to diagnose, test, and repair vehicles across light and medium duty categories. You’ll use computerized diagnostics equipment and service manuals, working within a collaborative team reporting to the Service Manager.

Requirements include recent verifiable experience in automotive service, a High School Diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license (CDL a plus), and the ability to work independently with a strong work ethic.

Qualifications

• Recent verifiable experience in light or medium duty automotive service facility.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Requires experience in one or more of the following areas: Automobile, Medium/Heavy Truck, School Bus, and Transit Bus.
• Appropriate hand tools. Tool Program available.
• Valid Driver’s License for vehicle classes working on. CDL is a Plus.
• Proven ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
• Must have a great attitude and work ethic, Be on time every day.

Responsibilities

• Position reports to the Service Manager.
