Job summary

CHS Inc. is seeking a Transportation Fleet Asset Management Intern in Inver Grove Heights, MN for Spring/Summer 2027.

This internship offers hands‑on experience in managing and optimizing the lifecycle of transportation assets, working with cross‑functional teams to support data analysis, reporting and strategic planning efforts that improve asset performance. You will contribute to audits, assist with fleet data management, and participate in sustainability and technology integration projects,

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in supply chain, logistics, transportation, or related field.
Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Analyze and manage transportation asset data to support decision-making.
Maintain and enhance asset inventories and databases for accuracy.
Collaborate with transportation operations, maintenance, and financial planning to find efficiency and cost-saving opportunities.
Support reporting and presentations for leadership with asset performance insights.
Participate in audits and inspections to ensure policy compliance.
Contribute to strategic projects including sustainability and technology integration.
Engage with field operations to understand maintenance practices and team dynamics.
Assist with other duties and projects for the broader asset management team.
