Job summary

Chesterfield County General Services is seeking a professional to evaluate fleet performance, optimize asset utilization, and support data-informed decisions across the County’s vehicle and equipment fleet.

Responsibilities include collecting, analyzing, and interpreting fleet data to identify trends and improvement opportunities; developing dashboards and reports; monitoring lifecycle costs and maintenance metrics; and helping develop fleet policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or public administration, accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Two years of professional-level administrative, analytical, and/or operational support in the assigned area.
• Equivalent combination of training and experience; five years of analytical or fleet-related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate fleet performance, optimize asset utilization, and support data-informed decisions.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret fleet data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to guide operations.
• Monitor lifecycle costs and recommend replacement schedules and procurement priorities.
• Assess maintenance metrics and collaborate with supervisors to improve service delivery.
• Contribute to fleet policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Perform other related work as required.
