Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certification in chemical processing preferred.
• Experience in chemical manufacturing or similar production; experience with reaction equipment desirable.
• Detail-oriented with ability to follow precise instructions and SOPs.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for equipment issues.
• Good communication and teamwork; safety-focused and compliant with regulations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding role.

Responsibilities

• Operate reaction equipment according to SOPs to initiate and control chemical reactions.
• Monitor parameters like temperature, pressure, and flow rates to meet specifications and safety rules.
• Conduct quality checks on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products for consistency.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform minor maintenance to avoid downtime.
• Maintain accurate production records to comply with regulations and quality standards.
• Follow safety protocols including proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
