Job summary

McCormick & Company is hiring a Flavor Manufacturing Tech for our Geneva, IL facility on 2nd shift (2:00 PM–10:30 PM, Monday–Friday). The role involves setting up and operating filling/packaging equipment, running a small spray dryer, and ensuring exact weights and labels per production cards.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalency.
• Minimum 1 year of production experience in blending/processing or related work.
• Ability to work across multiple tasks and follow procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret formula sheets and production documents.
• Willingness to lift 50 lb and operate equipment.
• Must be able to work overtime, weekends, and extended shifts.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate filling/packaging equipment and perform hand-filling tasks.
• Operate a small Spray Dryer as part of production.
• Follow packaging instructions, weights, labels, and schedules.
• Maintain accurate production records and report daily.
• Inspect in-process goods for weight, labeling, and packaging accuracy.
• Perform sanitation, housekeeping, and GMP compliance tasks.
• Assist with basic blends and emulsions and run sampling procedures.
• Operate a forklift safely and assist with changeovers and wash downs.
