Job summary

McCormick & Company, Incorporated is hiring a Flavor Manufacturing Tech for our Geneva, IL facility on 2nd shift (2 PM–10:30 PM). You will set up filling/packaging equipment, operate a small Spray Dryer, and ensure packaging accuracy and safety compliance.

The role requires a High School Diploma and 1 year of production experience, with strong attention to detail, math skills, and the ability to work overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of production experience involving mixing/blending/processing.
• Ability to read and interpret formulas, and to follow production instructions.
• Strong math and measurement skills; able to lift 50 lbs and manage weighty containers.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Ability to work extended shifts (10–12 hours) and overtime as needed.
• Experience in a GMP environment desired.
• Comfort with computer-based systems and touch-screen/keyboard input.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate filling and packaging equipment and perform hand-filling tasks.
• Operate a small Spray Dryer.
• Follow packaging instructions on production cards and schedules.
• Maintain accurate production records and daily reporting.
• Inspect in-process goods for weights, labeling, packaging, and pallet configuration.
• Perform sanitation duties and adhere to GMP procedures.
• Assist in basic blending and emulsions and maintain equipment.
• Operate forklift safely and conduct changeovers and wash downs.
