Job summary

Synergy Flavors, Inc. is seeking a Lab Technician for daily testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.

You will perform chemical and sensory analyses, ensure product conformance to specifications, and generate Certificates of Analysis while maintaining a clean, compliant laboratory. The candidate should have a science background (Chemistry/Biology/Microbiology/Food Science) and 0–2 years of experience or a related 2–4 year high school pathway.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, or Food Science/Technology or related; 0–2 years of experience or 2–4 years with high school diploma.
• Experience with HACCP, ISO/GFSI criteria preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office; strong data interpretation skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work with strict hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.
• Conduct sensory evaluations and various chemical tests per SOPs.
• Analyze data and generate Certificates of Analysis.
• Calibrate laboratory equipment and maintain records.
• Ensure compliance with GMP/QMS and keep workspace clean and safe.
