Job summary

Wingstop is hiring a cashier to take and relay orders quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment. You will handle cash and card transactions, interact with guests politely, upsell menu items, and support both the front of house and kitchen team to ensure timely service.

Ideal candidates bring cashier or restaurant experience, a Food Handler Certification, and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome customers entering the restaurant
• Place orders for customers in-person and over the phone; upsell and know menu items
• Process cash, credit card, and gift card transactions accurately
• Answer questions and make menu recommendations
• Ensure orders are prepared and delivered promptly to guests
• Verify items are correct and double-check orders before handing to customers
• Balance the cash drawer at shift end and secure till
• Maintain a clean, stocked Front of House area
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines and promote workplace safety
• Present a neat, professional appearance per company standards
• Handle complaints and escalate to management when needed
• Assist kitchen staff when required
• Follow manager directions and team requests
