Job summary

GEX Transport is seeking CDL Class A drivers for regional routes based in Lake Charles, LA. Home weekends and steady pay with reliable freight are provided; trainees need 1 year OTR/Regional experience, experienced drivers need 6 months flatbed plus 1 year OTR/Regional experience.

Pay ranges from $1,400 to $1,600 per week with a $5,000 sign-on bonus for experienced flatbed drivers. Duties include tarping, securing loads, and conducting inspections to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

Minimum age 22
Clean motor vehicle record and background checks
Ability to pass a DOT drug screen, Urine Test

Responsibilities

Tarpping and strapping down loads
Complete pre trip and post trip inspections
Deliver freight on time
