Job summary

truckingpeople is seeking a Logistics Driver – Flatbed Tow Operator (Class C) in Atlanta, GA to recover, transport, stage, and relocate company vehicles while adhering to DOT regulations and safety standards. This on-site, full-time role offers morning and evening shifts in a fast-paced fleet environment.

The ideal candidate has 4–6 years of flatbed towing experience, a valid Class C license (CDL preferred), MEC, and the ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Qualifications

• Valid Class C Driver's License required (CDL preferred but not required).
• MEC required.
• Consent Tow certification (where applicable).
• Clean driving record with no major violations.
• 4–6 years of professional flatbed towing and vehicle recovery experience preferred.
• Experience operating rollback or flatbed tow trucks.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle recovery procedures, winching, securement, and towing safety.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and repeatedly enter/exit the vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a flatbed tow truck to recover, transport, stage, and relocate vehicles.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload vehicles using recovery procedures.
• Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and daily inspections of tow trucks and equipment.
• Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and HOS requirements.
• Communicate recovery status with dispatch and operations teams.
