Job summary

TRUCKING PEOPLE is seeking a Logistics Driver – Flatbed Tow Operator (Class C) in Atlanta, GA. You will safely recover, transport, stage, and relocate company vehicles in a fast-paced fleet environment while adhering to DOT regulations and safety standards.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with flatbed tow trucks, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime or emergencies.

Qualifications

• Valid Class C license required; CDL preferred but not required.
• Medical Examiner Certificate (MEC) required.
• 4–6 years of flatbed towing and vehicle recovery experience preferred.
• Experience with winching and vehicle securement.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and work in varying environments.

Responsibilities

• Safely recover, transport, stage, and relocate company vehicles using a flatbed tow truck.
• Perform vehicle recoveries on roads, parking structures, loading docks, and sites.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload vehicles with standard recovery procedures.
• Operate recovery equipment including winches, straps, blocks, and wheel securement.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of tow trucks and recovery gear.
