Job summary

Peak Rentals in Carlsbad, NM seeks a CDL Driver who can safely operate trucks over 26,000 lbs GVW. You will build loads for deliveries, load and unload oilfield equipment, and keep a clean, safe work area while ensuring quality and safe operations.

Responsibilities include transporting equipment with flatbeds and semi tractors, loading at the yard, stacking loads securely, keeping DOT logs and bills of lading, and complying with DOT rules.

Qualifications

• Must be over 21 years of age.
• Must possess valid driver's license and be eligible to drive a company vehicle.
• Energy service experience helpful.
• Exhibit ability to be a strong team player.
• Possess excellent written and verbal skills, as well as interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in an environment of changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Transport equipment to and from customer locations with medium duty flatbed trucks as well as semi tractors.
• Perform load-outs of equipment at the yard.
• Repetitive heavy lifting.
• Rig up and rig down equipment, unloading and positioning equipment on location.
• Maintain a DOT electronic log and paper Bills of Lading.
• Ensure that trucks have proper and current inspections.
• Compliance with all DOT requirements.
