Job summary

Group 1 Honda Owings Mills is seeking Flat Rate Service Technicians to join our high-volume service team in Owings Mills, MD. You will perform high-quality repairs, diagnostics, and road tests, maintaining safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 2–3+ years of automotive technician experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license with a clean record. ASE certification is preferred. Background check and drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years automotive technician experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• ASE certification(s) preferred in brakes, electrical/electronic systems or engine performance.
• Must pass background check, MVR, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality repairs efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced, high-volume service environment.
• Conduct comprehensive diagnostics, troubleshooting, and testing on automotive systems.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Road-test vehicles to verify successful repairs.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
• Provide timely updates to service advisors on repair status and estimated completion times for customer communication.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with evolving automotive technology.
• Uphold company values in all interactions with customers, coworkers, and vendors.
