Job summary

Fontainebleau Miami Beach is seeking an experienced Bartender to craft cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages for guests in a courteous, efficient manner, while upholding hotel standards. This role requires flair bartending and a solid understanding of liquor regulations, with responsibilities spanning setup, service, and training apprentices.

The candidate should demonstrate strong math skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work effectively within a high-volume hospitality

Qualifications

Knowledge and use of flare bartending skills.
Knowledge of all liquor laws and regulations concerning service of alcoholic beverages.
Strong knowledge of wines and spirits.
Ability to perform basic math skills.
Ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff.
High school education or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Take drink orders from guests and serve drinks.
Mix ingredients, such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks according to standard recipes.
Serve wine and draft or bottled beer.
Collect money for drinks served.
Adhere to the proper par stock ordering procedures.
Complete and oversee set-up and clearing of the bar area.
Monitor and train apprentices.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
