Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain documentation, certifications, and daily reports; communicate progress with project managers.

This direct-hire leadership role is responsible for leading flagging crews, ensuring compliance with OSHA, MUTCD, and NCDOT standards, conducting field inspections, coordinating staffing, and promoting a strong safety culture. The ideal candidate has traffic control supervision experience, current North Carolina work zone certifications, and the ability to manage multiple crews across various project locations.

Extensive travel throughout North Carolina and flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and emergency call-outs are required.

Salary: $62,000 - $72,000 annually

Job Responsibilities

• Perform site visits and provide direction to crews on traffic control implementation.
• Maintain required documentation, certifications, and daily reports.
• Communicate with project managers, customers, and field personnel regarding work progress and operational needs.
• Investigate and address safety concerns, incidents, and performance issues promptly.
• Minimum 2 years of flagging experience
• Current Flagger Certification
• NC Basic Work Zone Installer Certification
• OSHA 10 Certification
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check
• Strong leadership and communication skills

Associate Requirements

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $29.81 - $34.62 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
